Instruction Manual
When using a BP apparatus , selecting the correct cuff size is important for an accurate reading. If the cuff size is not the proper use, the reading may yield an incorrect blood pressure value. The arm size is printed on each cuff.
Wear a short-sleeve shirt.
Slide the cuff of the digital BP apparatus onto your bare upper arm ( preferably left arm ) at heart level
Strap the cuff of the BP apparatus digital around the arm and rest your hand on a table.
Press the start button. All the display segments will be displayed. Zero is displayed blinking briefly. The display changes as the measurement begins.
The electronic BP apparatus will inflate around the entire circumference of the upper arm. The cuff at this time may feel tight, which is normal. A pressure bar indicator is displayed during inflation. If you wish to stop the inflation, please press the START button again.
Once the cuff inflates completely, deflation starts automatically and therefore the heart mark on the LCD display blinks indicating that the measurement is ongoing.
When the measurement is complete, the systolic and diastolic pressure readings and pulse rates are displayed on the A&D Medical Blood Pressure Monitor.
